Reading wk1

I very much agree with the fact of asking dumb questions to your client. If you don't know, don't just make it up or spend your valuable time trying to research it. Ask the client. You are going to look more like a dumbass if you design it wrong because you didn't ask. You're not an expert in what the info graphic is about. But your are an expert in simply designing what it should look like.

Detail is an absolute must. Especially in designing something that is really complex. I can't say how many times I came across a manual with terrible pictures of what your assembled project should look like. And of course the damn thing didn't look anywhere near what they had. And the want or desire to know has to be put into play. You can't just design it for the money. Otherwise, your graphic won't make any sense or it won't look very appealing.
